The Solis Tunic & Dress for Pattern Revolution

Earlier this week I had the privilege to be over at Pattern Revolution sharing a review of the too cool for school Solis Tunic & Dress from Sofilantjes Patterns. It is sporty and flirty, and perfectly Peanut.

I'm swamped with sewing deadlines and yet I couldn't help myself when I saw this pattern; I had to do it. It has such a clever t-strap back detail and I'm still a sucker for a good box pleat. Plus! There's a circle skirt option, too; it was hard for me to choose between the skirts. Then, just before I was ready to photograph the finished tunic, I grabbed a large scrap of coral knit from my shelf and twenty-minutes later had a pair of Go To Leggings to pair with it. Sewing is magic.

For the review itself, I sewed up a Solis in the Tunic style with box pleats, one size wide and two sizes taller (as always). I adore this fabric for my little true-blue lover -- an interlock knit from Jo-Ann's Doodles Collection [affiliate link] -- the final tunic is a great combination of pattern, fabric, and model! Now head over to Pattern Revolution to see more of it on The Peanut and read my honest review.

Seriously, you can't see anything here ...and I have 50 more like it. Go over to Pattern Revolution for the few shots where she managed to stay still.
